Here we are again, another Turntable Tuesday. This week our featured artist is someone who’s been on Turntable Tuesday before, but this is the first time, it’s all about HER!! You may remember hearing SEKYIA a few weeks ago, when we featured another Feel Good Inc. artist, Julian Write. Well she’s here with her FIRST solo feature and a brand new song!
Sekyia comes for an incredibly musically inclined family. Growing up her mother was also a singer, and before she could even talk she was in the studio learning and being inspired by her mother. As she got older, her brother and her would sing backup for their mother. This experience set Sekyia’s musical future in motion. Doing anything else, just isn’t an option for her.
I can honestly say, I’m glad this is her passion, b/c this week’s song is blowing my mind. I always get the feature songs about a week or two in advance before I post them up for you guys, and let me tell you…. This is a song, I have had in CONSTANT rotation ever since I got it. I hope you enjoy as well.
I am FINALLY taking a vacation!!!! No worries, in my absence I have a handful of posts pre-scheduled to keep you entertained!!!!

And in case you’re wondering where I’ll be…… Well TODAY: I’m in Tampa, Florida!! (Haven’t been here in a long time, but it was amazing to see one of my oldest and dearest friends while in town.)
Tuesday: While you’re all enjoying Turntable Tuesday and the Entertainmix, I will be in Cozumel Mexico – VIVA LA MEXICO! (Someone pour me some Tequila)
Wednesday:I will be in Belize City, Belize — I’ve never been to Central America, and I’m really excited to go there!!!
Thursday:I will be in Mahogany Bay. a small island off the coast of Honduras. (Hoping to get some snorkeling and good ocean time in there)
Friday: Is the place I’m looking forward to most, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS. My parents spent their honeymoon on Grand Cayman 35 years ago, and I’m so excited to be going there, and seeing some of the same places my parents enjoyed.
After all that fun in the sun and cruising around the Caribbean, I will finally be heading back to Tampa by weeks end, then HOME to Southern California! (I’m sure by then, I’ll be missing my SoCal life – But I am so excited for this vacation! It’s much needed and well deserved!!)

Okay Blogger Babies, here we are again, another Turntable Tuesday, and another amazing artist!
I haven’t been able to turn this dude off, ever since I stumbled upon him and I’m so excited to introduce you to Jamez Anthony. Jamez Anthony is the definition of Organized Chaos. He makes it difficult for anyone to categorize his style. Jamez Anthony combines traditional Hip-Hop, R&B lyricism, with Alternative-Pop choruses to create a sound all his own. Jamez refuses to confine himself to one sound and prides himself on being as versatile artist.
At 16 he started DJing, and as time progressed his mixing gained him a lot of attention and eventually DJ Semaj the PuppetMastar was born. He was given the name “Puppet Mastar” because of his uncanny ability to control the crowd. Jamez Anthony’s musical arsenal was growing and it was only a matter of time before DJing evolved into producing. Jamez Anthony wears many hats from writing to producing, but he has never detoured from his main goal. That goal is to change the face & sound of today’s music. Jamez Anthony has always been surrounded by musical veterans such as super producer Todd Spadafore (Who’s production credits include: Juelz Santana, Rick Ross and Pitbull.), Artist/Producer Gabriel Antonio to name a few. Their influence and years of hard work eventually lead to Jamez Anthony inking a deal with Island Def Jam for Worldwide Digital Distribution in mid 2010. The future looks bright for Jamez Anthony and He will without question change the structure of music as we know it.
